This course earns one credit and is required for graduation.

 

This course will begin with the Revolutionary War period and go through at least WWII but hopefully beyond that time frame.

Students are expected to bring their book to class every day unless told otherwise.

Students can use any type of notebook or folder they feel comfortable with and are required to use a pen for all quizzes and tests.

Tests and quizzes usually come from students’ notes, homework, and maps. Sometimes quizzes come from other materials which is stated ahead of time.

One project will be assigned for each quarter that is relative to the material being taught in class. Grading weight and procedures for the project will accompany each project. I accept no late work for any reason.

Appropriate videos will be shown from time to time as well as virtual tours, pictures projected on the TV screen and power point.
